An oval salver by Omar Ramsden: The surface chased, on eight ball and claw supports. Chased inside the border with the following inscription "I WAS WROUGHT FOR CHARLES ARCHIBALD WALPOLE O.B.E. BY COMMAND OF HIS FRIENDS ON THE STAFF OF THE ANGLO PERSIAN OIL CO. AND ITS MANAGING AGENTS IN PERSIA IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD MCMXXIII TO MARK THEIR APPRECIATION OF HIS JUDGEMENT AND UNFAILING SYMPATHY ON ALL OCCASSIONS: HE SERVED THE COMPANY IN THE CAPACITY OF GENERAL MANAGER FROM 1909 TO 1922"
